Race Events
Slideways Go Karting world runs several race event programs throughout the year, and while the racing can be serious, they are aimed at promoting fun, social connections, sportsmanship, and good times!
We run a Championship Sprints series and an Enduro series! See below for further details of each series and for upcoming race dates.
Sprints
The Sprints are part of our Championship Series which are raced in 3 categories.
CADETS: 7 – 11 years
OPEN LIGHTS: 12 years years and older, and under 80kgs
OPEN HEAVY: 12 years years and older, and over 80kgs
- Rounds alternate between forward and reverse track direction
- SWS points for all rounds
- Double Slideways Points for Round 4 & Round 9
- Triple Slideways points Round 10
- Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd
- Random prize draw for 4th onwards
- Enter 5 Rounds Upfront & Receive A Free Academy Session
Friday Events
- 5.30pm Arrival
- $75 Entry
- 5 lap Qualifying
- 2 x 10 min Races
- 1 grid per category
Sunday Events
- 7.30am Arrival
- $100 Entry
- 5 lap Qualifying
- 3 x 10 min Races
- 1 grid per category

Enduros
Enduro Race Events will feature 3 Drivers (option for 2) Drivers to be 14 years + (or raced in a Junior/Light Championship round).
- Rounds alternate between forward and reverse track direction
- Less serious than our Championship Series
- SWS points for all rounds
- No Championship
- Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd
- Themed nights (more news soon)
- Random prize draw for 4th onwards
- Single 5 lap qualifying
- 1 hour race - 20 minute stint per driver
Friday Events
- 5.30pm Arrival
- 3 drivers
- $75 per driver
- $225 per kart (option for 2 drivers at $225 kart cost
